Merry Christmas to All!!!!!!!

Wow, Christmas came and went so fast this year! But, I must say it was the best Christmas in years! We celebrated Christmas Day with my family here at our house and Ma went all out with the food! The boys had a GREAT day enjoying their new presents from Santa! All the family came over and we relaxed and watched movies! The following day the Ortiz familia all headed to Brenham to celebrate "Country Style!" We ate delicious bar-b-que and enjoyed being outdoors most the time! The kids had a great time playing and getting many more presents! Overall, this was a GREAT Christmas! Exactly what We WANTED for Christmas!!! Thanks Santa!!!

Mommy's Bday!

Another great birthday! Andy, really made it special this year. First, he surprised me with my beautiful arrangement of my favorite flowers (he made it himself-ck out)! Then, he took me out on the town to my favorite restaurant Maggiano's! Then, we drove around just us looking at Christmas light:) Then, on my actual b-day we celebrated here with my mom who brought us dinner and my cake, the boys loved the icing:)
Now, I am working on learning how to use my gifts- so high tech (so not me), but I had a Fabulous Birthday!!

Christmas Shopping with the boys....

The malls were packed but it is always fun to shop! Jonah and Noah love Memorial City Mall, so we took them there to finish up some last minute shopping:)

Can you believe it snowed in Houston?

Wow, only in Houston can we be wearing shorts one day and bundled up with snow falling the next! How fun! It hasn't snowed since Jonah was first born, so we were excited to see it come down!

Jonah's 4th Birthday Party!!!

Jonah had a great 4th birthday this year! We celebrated it at "Monkey Bizness." All our family and friends came to celebrate Superman's birthday! We are so proud of Jonah and how much he has grown this year! Jonah is now reading, writing, and he is so mature for a 4 year old lil' guy! He is also a GREAT big brother to Noah!

Cookie Exchange

The annual cookie exchange was held this year at Aunt Londie's and Uncle Tony's house. The ladies had a great time eating, trying to sing, exchanging presents, and voting the best cookie! The judges were: Crystal, Vicky, Erica, and Chrissy---and the winners for best cookies were... 1st- Brenda (1st time to win), me (first time to enter, YEAH!), and Chrissy. It was fun to hang out with the ladies. Too bad I did not get more pics, but I still had not downloaded Jonah's birthday pics!:) Enjoy the holidays!!!

Happy 4th Birthday Jonah

December 4th was Jonah's 4th birthday and he had a great day! His big party is the 6th but we did some celebrating on his real birthday! Jonah made his birthday cake, and we ate at his favorite resturant and Ma came to visit. Happy Birthday my love!!!

Jonah is starting to read word families, today's lesson was the /at/ family! I am teaching him word families and then using books with the same word families to get him reading! I am proud that he began reading before he turned 4! He loves learning new things!!

SHASTA!!!

So, I have not posted many pics of my only girl- Shasta, so I decided to add some of our "wow wow" as Noah says. She is honestly the best dog in the world, however she is a wimp, everytime it sprinkles a little bit she is jumping to come inside, right now she is laying it down inside with us:)

This year we had a nice and pretty relaxing Thanksgiving. We started at the Ortiz family and headed to Ma's afterwards. However, my camera was left so I only got pics from the Ortiz Thanksgiving, but knowing my mom she took tons of pics so I will have to download some for the blog:)

We had a great weekend in Brenham this weekend! The boys had fun playing outside before the cold weather came on Sat.

Oh my, we were in Brenham over the weekend and look at what Andy killed! A huge water moccasin! Pretty scary... thank GOD the boys were not near it! It was by the wood in the garage, so beware during this season they hide because they are trying to find warm places! Man, Andy tore it up!!!
