The boys...

Wow, time has really flown this past year!
Noah is about to turn two in less than a month- because of everything going on we are having a small family party for him! Noah is so fun and growing so much! He is now talking more, he copies Jonah a lot and is brave as can be! I plan on putting Noah in gymnastics and other activities as soon as he is old enough!
Jonah is a learning worm! He is now reading, and spells BIG words all the time (like balloon, mountain, apple)! He is all about the learning at age 4, and he is mommy's BIG helper! He still has another year till he begins school but he is so ready! He also finished up soccer season, and I am looking into what to put him into next? Maybe acting- he is such a comedian!
Hope you enjoy some of what has been going on in our lives, come back soon! I promise to do my best in updating our blog...

Happy Easter!

Happy Belated Easter! Since Mommy had just been home a day we decided to celebrate Easter at home with the boys. Daddy was great and helped the Easter bunny in getting gifts for the boys! They were thrilled to get some new movies and lots of candy. We had planned to hide the Easter eggs outside but the rain did not let us, so we improvised and hid them all over the house and they had so much fun! For dinner Daddy made some delicious bar-b-que! Till next year Mr. Easter Bunny!

Noah loving his Easter basket!

Jonah loving his movie!

Jonah loving finding some eggs in his toys!

Oh no, candy time!

What's been going on...

On April 4th we went out and celebrated Lettie's birthday and at that time I did not know that a few days later I would be in the hospital for 2 whole days! I did have to have surgery to remove the tumor that was in my neck, it was a little worse than we had anticipated!

But THANK GOD it was not cancer, instead a very nasty infection- that eventually could have been life threatening but doctor took care in time. Right now I will not be posing for any pictures and I am secluded to my house for a few weeks until I build up my immune system again! It has been a terrible experience and nothing I hope to go through again! My neck has a large insision and my red/ and white blood cells are low, so I am really taking it easy and trying to get healthier! I will not be returning back to work for some time and we are making Noah's 2nd birthday very low key this year! When I get better we plan to celebrate!

I want to Thank everyone again for being so supportive and especially my family, Mom, Andy and Mrs. O for helping 100% with everything!

Super Heroes Season Over:(

Jonah's first soccer season is officially over! Jonah and Daddy had a great time playing and meeting new people! Andrew was a great coach and parents requested him to coach next season which thrilled him! I think (not because I am biased or anything) but he was the YMCA's best coach! They even sent an email to see if he would like to join their staff:) what a compliment!

Well, to celebrate a great season we celebrated at Clay's Resturant and the kids had a blast! That place is so kid friendly! And you know me and my cookie cakes, I had to get one for the team (any excuse to eat cookie cake)!

Here is Daddy about to give Jonah his trophy and medal!

The team posing one last time with awards!

Andres' and Arturo Arrived!

Well, Sofia did it! She delivered two healthy twin boys! We went to see them and wow they are so tiny and so cute! Congrats you guys!

Sofia was doing great and excited!

The two babies sleeping! I can tell them apart! Left is Arturo and right Andres'

Noah did not want to see the babies too much! I think he was a little sad he is no longer the baby in the Ortiz family? But he is still the baby in the Rodriguez family!
