Jonah starting to spell!

Jonah is loving learning! He plays with his sponge letters at least once a day! He has starting to spell a few words, especially using word families. I captured him today spelling FUN, and CAT, he also spells SUN, RUN, PAT. Good Job Jonah!!!

Jonah's starting to write words!?!

Okay he has learned his letter sounds so now he is beginning to read and write some words, with mommy's help of course! Yesterday he said he felt happy so he wanted to write that on his board. So he sounded out the h-a-p, he needed help with the last 2 letters! He has not learned all the phonetic rules yet, but he is 3 years old, so he has time for all that!

I asked him to list for me all the things that make him HAPPY, and his list consists of this:
1. smiling
2. Ma
3. Noah
4. Daddy
5. blocks
6. Oh, and of course PUMPKINS:)
where is mommy on the list? oh well!

What a nice list... the simple things in a kids world!!!

Every year we take some holiday/ yearly photos of the family. We have not received them yet, but here is a sample of 2 of my fav's:) The boys did a great job...however Noah started getting a lil' cranky towards the end! He was tired, Jonah decided that day he likes taking pics, he said he wants to model- go figure?!?

This year we decided to let Jonah carve his pumpkins, however we did the dangerous work just to be safe!

Brenham in the Fall!

The boys had been bugging to go out to country in Brenham, so we went! They had a blast playing outside the whole time! Here Noah learned to drive the hummer, Jonah relaxes as lil' Noah takes him around the land! For the next several weeks the place is booked with getaways including Andy's guy trip and my girlie weekend! So the boys will have to wait a few more weekends till they return!:)

NKOTB concert!

The big day finally arrived! Lettie, Tracy, and I joined the thousands of other NKOTB fans at the Toyota Center! It was a great concert and we are so glad we decided to go!!!!

Welcome baby Jonathan!

Baby Jonathan arrived on October 14th! He is adorable... Raul and Marissa have been so blessed! Take a look at the newest member of our large familia! Loving those greyish, hazel, colored eyes- even though he is napping in our pics!!!

Cy-Fair Fest...

We decided to go to the Cy-Fair Fire Fest at Lone Star College and the boys had a lot of fun! They rode a train, they had pony rides, moonwalks, and everything was FREE!

Noah's Good Hygiene

Noah is loving to brush his teeth! His Aunt Tonia will love that!! He brushes daily with Jonah, so far he has lost 3 toothbrushes...oh well!

The Fort Bend County Fair!

We had fun at the Fort Bend County Fair! It was great weather and the bar-b-que was delicious! We also were glad to visit because the Fort Bend County Trailriders gave mommy a college scholarship long ago:) The kids had fun riding a few rides including this mini-train, where Noah lifted his arms like he was on a rollercoaster!!! And the huge slide daddy and Jonah made me ride, that was totally scary (especially because I am afraid of heights!) but Jonah has become our daredevil lately, go figure!!!

Well, since we no longer have Astroworld here in Houston we settled for visiting the Fort Bend County Fair! It was fun for the kids, and yes I hate carnival rides but we let them ride a few. Jonah rode his first mini- coaster with daddy and LOVED it! Noah was still too little!:)

Oh, No! Jonah might be taking after Ma and Daddy loving the Gambling rush- just kidding? Hahaha! He saw his first slot machine and thought it was pretty cool! Maybe we will have to take lil' Jonah to Vegas with us next time we go? NOPE not happening!
