Vacation Alamo City!

We visited our favorite Texas city this year for our family vacation! On Day 1 we visited the Alamo and got there too late...so we took a Horse Carriage ride around the city to relax after the walking and HEAT!

Here the guys are outside closed Alamo.

Tower of Americas...

We finally did it, and I overcame my fears of height and elevators to make my son happy! We went to the top of the Tower of Americas. It was super scary for me but worth it to see how happy it made Jonah! I was just happy to be down on the ground afterwards!

Here is the Tower of Americas...

Watch Jonah Reading!!!

Jonah loves to read but he is now reading much harder words like: bear, water, balloon! He can also spell all these words with NO trouble at all! He is doing great, he is even learning the continents and oceans right now! We are so proud of our lil' man and sad that he will begin pre-k next fall! Lots more to learn!!!!

Lift off to Nasa!!!

Well we had never taken the kids to Nasa...actually Andy and I had not been there since we were kids. We decided that it was time, since the boys are very into space and the solar system! we had a great time learning things and seeing all the neat things at NASA. Afterwards we spent the weekend in Kemah which was fun! Kemah really looks like it is all back to normal (you would never be able to tell IKE destroyed it a year ago!)

Here are Noah and Daddy inside the spaceship's control room.

Right now all the Starwars stuff is on display so here are the boys in front of some the STARWARS stuff!

Me in front of the sign that says I will one day be an astronaut- yeah right!

Day at the Museum

Ma and I decided we wanted to take the boys on a fun day to the Museum. We were going to go to the Children's Museum but Jonah insisted on going to the Museum of Natural Science to see the DINOSAURS!!! We had a great time and Jonah even learned about the Big Bang Theory with a group of 4th graders-he was able to explain it all afterwards...what a big boy!

Herman Park's Train Ride

Since the boys did excellent at the Museum we decided to treat them to a train ride through Herman Park. We did not know that the train was new and the route was also a lot longer which the boys enjoyed! After a long fun day the boys crashed on the way home:)
